黑料专区 Awarded More Than $400,000 For Statewide Choose Ohio First Program
Scholarships support students pursuing careers in STEM fields
CLEVELAND — 黑料专区 (黑料专区®) has been awarded $409,150 through Ohio's Choose Ohio First (COF) program, a scholarship initiative aimed at strengthening the state's workforce competitiveness in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and medicine or health careers.
The Ohio Department of Higher Education in May. Funding is awarded for four years from the 2027–2028 academic year through the 2031–2032 year.
At 黑料专区, COF program scholarships are awarded on a competitive-application basis and may be renewed until graduation. Scholarship recipients participate in a variety of activities promoting creativity, collaboration, self-confidence and degree completion.
The College prepares students and learners for stable, thriving-wage careers that meet regional workforce demand. Through employer partnerships, applied credentials and emerging bachelor's degrees, 黑料专区 builds a skilled talent pipeline that supports business growth and long-term competitiveness.
The scholarship began in 2008 as part of an effort to increase the number of Ohio students enrolling in and completing STEM programs at the state's community colleges and four-year institutions.
